Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a small experiment around digital reading.
I’ve always felt that reading fiction is powerful, but emotionally “flat” compared to movies or games. So I started building Immerziva, a platform that lets authors add ambient sounds, soundtracks, and sound effects to their stories, synced to each reader’s reading pace.
The idea isn’t audiobooks or narration. Readers still read normally. Audio works as an atmospheric layer to enhance mood and immersion, and it’s fully optional.
Right now, we’re focusing on:
Keeping reading central, not replacing it
Making audio subtle, not distracting
Letting authors add audio without technical skills
We’re live and actively collecting honest feedback from readers and writers. I’m especially curious:
Does audio enhance reading for you, or does it break focus?
Which genres do you think benefit most from this?
If anyone wants to check it out or share thoughts, we just launched on Product Hunt today:
Not asking for upvotes, genuinely looking for feedback and discussion.
Thanks!
