Up to around $200 MRR - but looking to optimize conversion - any suggestions?

My question: I currently have a $19.95 basic subscription, but what can I do better to provide more obvious value to users? Pay-as-you go plan for AI advisor usage? Something else?

For context: I built a platform for tracking stock market analyst calls on social media (shadowalpha.ai) - FinX, youtube, that sort of thing, to help answer the question: which stock market analysts actually have a good track record? The goal is to create accountability for anyone posting financial advice online.

Currently the subscription gives you:

  1. Access to all of the market analysis/summaries for each stock
  2. Access to coherent stock predictions from analysts that we are tracking - not just their overall scores. Lets you follow what they do.
  3. AI advisor / MCP - lets you ask any question about the 80,000+ predictions/chatter/trade that we process in our database. E.g. "What's a hot stock that the top 3 rated analysts all are talking about?"

My first realization was that the app was far too complicated. I had built a lot of complex tools that weren't useful or intuitive to most people, so I stripped it down to the base core concepts (like a game loop):

  1. Find stocks that users are buzzing about on social media right now
  2. Research/due diligence on them - see what people are saying
  3. Track the analysts who are making these calls - are they reliable?
  4. Post about your stock trades, get scored/credit for making good calls of your own
  5. Get subscribers of your own - sell premium content (details on your trades) (think X subscriptions)

This made it 100x easier and more intuitive to use.

Stats so far:

  • 2300 visits since I launched it
  • Approx 10 paid subscribers currently, used to have double that but there was a lot of attrition.
  • 54 subscribers to my weekly newsletter
  • 108 free signups - this tier lets you peruse the website, read through the feed of chatter from traders, look at the Stock Ideas page.

I apologize for the long winded post here - I have been working on this project solo for about a year and I feel like I am too much in my own head - it's hard to see things from the perspective of others so I appreciate any feedback on my pricing model and value prop.
