I honestly didn’t expect this moment to hit this hard.
Today I got my first-ever paid user for an app I’ve been building called Smart Jyotish AI.
NPR 299 (\~$2.20).
For some people, $2 might be nothing. But for me, this is huge.
I’m not a professional developer. I started this project with an idea, learned along the way, used AI heavily to help me build things I didn’t know how to code, broke things countless times, fixed them, rebuilt parts, and kept going.
The app now has a website, Android app, astrology calculations, AI-powered analysis, payment/token systems, and a bunch of other things I never thought I’d actually be able to build.
And today, a real person looked at it and said:
“Yeah, I’m willing to pay for this.”
That feeling is different. 🥹
This isn’t about the 299 rupees.
It’s about getting the first signal that maybe this crazy idea can actually become something.
