The Solo Founder Trap: Busy but Not Growing

I think one of the biggest traps for solo founders is doing too many things right, but none of them at a scale that actually moves the needle.

For example, right now I could:

  • Post content on LinkedIn
  • Join conversations on X
  • Promote my product in Facebook communities
  • Reach out to potential users directly
  • Experiment with Reddit
  • Keep improving my landing page and onboarding

Every single one of these activities makes sense.

But here's the problem: together, they can easily consume my entire day without generating meaningful growth.

And the tricky part is that being busy feels like making progress.

I'm starting to think that doing fewer things consistently, at a meaningful scale, might be far more effective than trying to be everywhere.

Curious how other solo founders approach this. Do you focus on one acquisition channel at a time, or try to grow across several?
