Background- I have been working in tech sales for over an year now, and sales reporting takes a lot of my time and energy, with AI tools, it got easy but still not as simple as I would want.
So, I’ve been thinking about building a small SaaS and wanted to see if this is actually useful or just sounds good on paper.
Imagine you manage 5–10 regions/teams and have tons of weekly meetings.
You upload/push the meeting transcripts into one place, and instead of just getting individual summaries, the tool looks across all the meetings and gives you:
- Key action items + owners + deadlines
- Risks and recurring issues
- Sales/pipeline updates
- What changed week-over-week
- A simple executive dashboard
- A weekly report of things that actually need your attention
Reports/messages adapted to different stakeholders and their communication style
For example, the same underlying information could be turned into a concise executive update for the CEO, a detailed action-oriented report for a regional manager, or a client-friendly update for an external stakeholder.
I know meeting transcription/summarization tools already exist, so I’m more interested in the cross-meeting / executive intelligence + stakeholder-specific communication aspect.
Would this actually be useful to you as a manager/executive? Or is this solving a problem that most people don’t really have?
