It’s absolutely everywhere.
Need a social post? Hand over all the promo shit, and someone will just feed them into an AI to spit out two sentences sacked in emojis.
Need a slide deck? Here’s a 2,000-word AI-generated outline, plus a rough draft haphazardly disguised in a corporate template.
A blog post? Here’s 1,300 words with zero strategy, no clear goal, and an audience of "everyone"....just fix it up however you want.
An email? Here are four AI-written options for the same campaign that sound completely identical.
The most frustrating part?
The people generating this stuff don't even read it before sending it to me for review (3 of my clients are doing this rn). If you can’t be bothered to read your own output, why should I? And more importantly, why would the target audience also bother? It is very easy now to detect AI slop.
It’s lazy, it’s mind-numbing, and the resulting copy acts like a dirty window hiding whatever actual message the clients are trying to send.
Honestly, polishing the worst human-written draft is still better than trying to fix the AI slop and clients are not realizing this right now.
