Is finding users actually the hardest part of building a SaaS?

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like building a SaaS has become much easier now because of AI and vibe coding. You can build an MVP pretty quickly.

The part I struggle with is getting users.

I've built a few websites before, and I managed to get some of them to around 100 visitors a day through SEO. But I could never figure out how to grow them to 1,000+ daily users, and eventually I lost motivation and stopped working on them.

It feels like getting from 0 to 100 users is one challenge, but getting from 100 to 1,000 is a completely different game.

For those of you who have built a successful SaaS, what made the biggest difference? Was it SEO, content marketing, social media, partnerships, paid ads, or something else?

I'm trying to understand where founders should spend most of their time. Building the product seems easier than building an audience.

I'd love to hear your experiences and what worked for you.
