Hi, I'm a motion designer and I've been building an AI-automated SaaS promo video maker tool. It analyzes your website, get your brand voice, writes the script, generates VO and music, and delivers you a ready-to-publish SaaS promo video.
I analysed competitors, and none of them actually provide this level of quality output.
However, since this is my first SaaS, I really don't know how to price it.
Normally, when I worked as a freelancer, I used to charge around 1k-5k for a similar project, and I know agencies charge up to 9k.
This tool, however, can't really produce that level of complexity or quality, but it has still decent quality, like I would say you can get 80% of what you can get by working with a freelancer or agency.
So, should it be worth around at least 300$ per usage? But it sounds too expensive for a tool that nobody knows.
So, rather than value, I priced it based on my cost, and I tried to keep it as cheap as possible.
So, what I want to ask is if that low price would influence visitors’ minds to think that should be a cheap outcome.
I've attached a screenshot of my pricing page.
I think the pro package should be the one people are going to use. So, it is 39 per video. Is this pricing appropriate?
I'm open to your comments.
