I made my first organic sale with zero ad spend

Got a payment notification last week from someone I've never spoken to. They found my SaaS, tried it, and paid for it completely on their own.

For context - no ads, no cold outreach, nothing paid. Just been heads down on the basics since launch:

  • SEO work on the landing page, meta tags, sitemap, structured data
  • Getting listed in directories and launch platforms
  • Posting consistently on X and engaging in relevant communities
  • Sharing on Reddit authentically without spamming

Nothing groundbreaking. Just showing up consistently and making sure the product is findable.

Honestly, sometimes distribution is harder than building the product itself. You can ship something genuinely useful and still hear nothing for weeks. No idea which of those channels actually brought this customer in - that's the honest truth about early organic growth. But something worked.

If you wonder what my SaaS is - alignear.com

One sale. Keeping my head down and pushing for more. What would you do next to keep the momentum going and what's working for you on the distribution side?
