I just launched a SaaS purely for the German market...

Hello everybody

I recently launched a SaaS focused purely for the German market and regulations. I noticed a couple of things:

  • High skepticism, lots of comparing, questioning, and “prove it to me” energy
  • First point makes marketing tough. Making the even the slightest attempt at product research (ie in public forums etc..) and you immediately comments like "oh just another poor guy trying to sell something"
  • I feel like a lot of Germans (especially those handling smaller businesses) still prefer using Excel and paper to manage their stuff

For those of you building SaaS in Germany and for Germans:
Did you experience the same? What actually moved the needle for you? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
