How do u guys handle this shit?
Like, working when it doesn't work as you wanted and you're running short on money. No work, no support.
I run a platform and althought we got 600 users in a month it is NOT as rewarding as you might think. For now we only have $77 revenue and monetizing that with a hard paywall will just kill it.
So literally, spent a lot of time, money, and effort on making this and neither me nor the developer are making anything noticeable
And the cost of keeping it running in terms of the efforts? Just too much.
I have been freelancing for a long time and I had a moment where I didn't get a client for 7 straight months and it wasn't this stressful and emotionally draining.
My bank account literally got $92 left on it and although I can still survive bcs i live at my mom's but that would still suck to get back to $0 again.
So I feel like, I just gotta get a job man.
Cutting everything was really a stupid idea 🥲
Edit: thank you so much guys, your pieces of advice and support were really helpful.
Here's what most said: "Get a job dude"
Here's what I will do: "Getting a job and working on the project as part time. The job will give me funds to explore the channels I haven't got the chance to yet. Paid media"
Thank you so much guys. Much love and respect. 🥰
