I’ve been working on a small AI-related product recently, and I’m realizing that building the actual product might be the easier part.
The hard part is everything after that.
I can explain the features, but turning that into a clear landing page is harder than I expected. I also keep going back and forth on where the first users should come from.
Product Hunt feels too early.
Reddit is tricky because nobody likes self-promo.
Cold outreach feels spammy if the positioning isn’t clear.
SEO feels too slow for the beginning.
So I’m curious how other SaaS founders here approached this stage.
When you had an early product but not many users yet, what helped you most?
Was it rewriting the landing page, talking to users directly, posting in communities, cold outreach, or something else?
