There is no doubt we are. But that doesn’t mean AI is not valuable - just misunderstood.
Remember the dotcom bubble in the late ’90s? Everyone was throwing money at anything with “dotcom” in the name. Most of those companies crashed and burned. Yet from that chaos came Google, Amazon, and PayPal. Today, the Internet runs our entire economy.
That’s where we are with AI now. Everyone’s betting big - some on solid ground, others on hype. The challenge isn’t whether AI will matter - it’s what will matter. The real question is: which specific use cases will justify today’s company valuations?
And honestly, we won’t know for sure until we’re looking back at this moment years from now.
