First SaaS landing page what actually matters vs fluff?

I’m building my first SaaS (salon management tool) and am currently working on the landing page.

Before I overdesign or add unnecessary stuff, I want to understand what actually matters.

From your experience (as users or builders):

  • What are the MUST-HAVE elements on a SaaS landing page?
  • What makes you trust a product enough to try it?
  • What’s something most SaaS landing pages get wrong?
  • Do you prefer simple vs detailed landing pages?

Right now, I’m thinking of including:

  • clear value proposition
  • feature highlights
  • screenshots/demo
  • pricing
  • CTA for free trial

But I’m not sure what actually drives conversions vs just looking good.

Would really appreciate honest feedback, especially from people who’ve built or used SaaS products.
