Building file delivery that doesn't unlock until the client pays. here's why

As a motion designer, getting paid on time has always been hard. Sometimes getting paid at all.

Saw a thread recently where a studio asked someone to do an unpaid "test" and then hand over the final video plus the working files. It's beyond a joke. Creatives shouldn't be working for free and something needs to change.

So FileFlippers sends a watermarked preview, and the clean files only unlock once payment clears. Still figuring out how that works for working files, but for final delivery it's something I could've done with long ago.

Still chewing on how to handle the working-files side, since that's where the gate gets awkward. Any suggestions?
