- your stack has to run your ops: with zero hires, onboarding, auth, billing, and error handling have to be completely automated. you cannot afford manual support tickets at scale.
- big tech buys speed, not just users: wix bought base44 because building it in-house would have taken them 18 months and millions in dev salaries. buying him was simply faster.
although timing played a huge part here and nobody is saying this is easy to replicate. but it does show how far 1-2 person setups can go right now without raising cash or hiring.
