Has anyone here actually tested ChatGPT Ads for a SaaS product yet?
I’m mostly curious about how the traffic compares with Google Ads. CPC is interesting, but I’d be more interested in actual signups, trials and eventually paid conversions.
We’re still waiting to see how things play out on the B2B side. Since the ads are currently only shown to users on free ChatGPT accounts, it’s hard to tell whether the relevant B2B audience is actually using the free version enough for this to become a viable acquisition channel.
The intent could also be quite different from traditional search, so I’m wondering whether people are seeing quality traffic or mostly curiosity clicks.
If you’ve tested it, what has the funnel looked like so far?
