A SaaS subscription under $20, bad idea?

Hey everyone, I’ve been having some doubts about my SaaS and wanted to get your honest opinions.

I launched a SaaS with a free plan, then two paid plans at $20 and $40.

The product helps founders track each marketing campaign in detail, with an AI assistant that explains what’s working, what’s not, and what should be improved.

The context is pretty simple: a lot of founders don’t fail because of their product, but because they’re flying blind on marketing. They test things, change direction constantly, but never really know if things are improving or not.

My concern right now is pricing.

On one hand, under $20 feels reasonable for solo founders and small teams, especially early-stage.

On the other hand, I’m worried it might feel “too cheap” and hurt the perceived value of the product in a B2B context.

So I’m wondering:

- Can pricing too low actually hurt perceived value in B2B?

- Have any of you started with a low price and increased it later? Or would you personally expect to pay more for a tool like this from day one?

I’m looking for honest feedback, even if it’s blunt.

Thanks in advance
